Hiring a roofer
Questions worth asking any roofing contractor
A short list that tends to separate careful work from a fast quote — useful whether or not you call us.

About the work itself
How will the valleys, edges, and penetrations be handled? Where will the panels come from and what lengths will they be? What happens to the existing roof and decking? How will ventilation be addressed?
Clear answers to those four questions tell you a great deal about how the job will go.
About the process
Who will be on site, and can you talk to them? What is the timeline if weather interrupts? How is the site cleaned at the end of each day?
About the estimate
Ask what is included and what is not. Ask what would change the price mid-job. An estimate you understand is worth more than the lowest number on the page.
Carlos answers these on the phone or standing in the driveway, in English or Spanish, without pressure.
