Caring for a metal roof: cleaning, gutters, and small repairs
Metal roofs ask for very little, but the little they ask for keeps them looking and performing the way they did on day one.

Keep water moving
Most roof problems are drainage problems. Clear gutters, clear valleys, and clear downspouts do more for a roof than anything else you can do from the ground.
If gutters overflow at the same corner every storm, that corner is worth a look.
Cleaning and appearance
Organic buildup, staining, and debris under trees can dull a finish over time. Careful roof washing refreshes the surface without abrading the coating. Pressure and harsh chemicals do more harm than good.
Catch small things early
A loose trim piece, a lifted fastener, a sealant joint at a vent — these are inexpensive to correct and expensive to ignore. A quick look after a severe storm is usually all it takes.
